At Golfpark Mieminger Plateau, you’ll find not only beautiful fairway views and perfectly maintained greens, but also a unique vineyard. As the first female winemaker in Tyrol, Sieglinde Knabl manages a vineyard of around 1,000 vines at the Parkcourse. The wines from Joseph’s Tiroler Weinbau meet the strict criteria for the “Qualitätswein Österreich” (Austrian Quality Wine) seal.
With varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Bouvier, Zweigelt Weiß, and Rosé Cuvée, the Knabl family cultivates both hardy and more delicate grape types, some of which are rare in North Tyrol. Although Sieglinde Knabl, like many of her peers in North Tyrol, practices winemaking more as a passionate hobby, the quality of her wines reflects her meticulous and dedicated work.
This devotion has been recognized with the “Qualitätswein Österreich” seal, awarded to all wines submitted by Joseph’s Tiroler Weinbau. In the future, the North Tyrolean winemaker plans to expand her vineyards further, experimenting with different varieties to refine her unique wine style.
